This potboard was one of the original pieces in the Chichester collection, inspired by traditional freestanding kitchen furniture. The warm solid oak surface is a useful preparation area, while the tongue and groove undershelf offers plenty of room for pots and pans. It works well as a console in other parts of the home, too.

Design inspiration

Neptune co-founder John and creative founder Emma turned to antique shops and reclamation yards to furnish their first home. They were drawn to classic Georgian furniture, and the pieces they chose inspired Chichester – our first interior collection. This influence is evident in Chichester’s traditional farmhouse feel and its defining features including elegant proportions, decorative mouldings and carved skirting.
