Delivery
You will be contacted a few days prior to delivery to discuss the method of the delivery and an estimated time of delivery, in most cases our delivery service team will install your new furniture in your home.
We may use a tried and trusted delivery company in certain instances in which case you will be informed when we book in the delivery. If a delivery company is used you might be asked to assist the driver with lifting and will be responsible for fitting any shelves or table legs etc, if fitted.
Upon prior agreement, old furniture may be removed on a like for like basis, please ask a member of our sales team when you are confirming the order details.
We can deliver free of charge to addresses, within mainland England, if the order value is £500 or more. Any orders below £500 within mainland England will be charged at £15. For all other addresses outside this area and including the EU states, quotes are available on application.
We aim to deliver your furniture within the time quoted when you placed your order. If, however, your order is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, then we cannot accept any liability for consequential loss.
You will become the owner of the goods (and be liable for the loss or destruction of the goods) at the time of delivery, provided that we have received payment in full for the goods.
All deliveries must be signed for on delivery. If you are out when we make a pre-arranged delivery there may be an additional charge for this.
Access to the destination room
Before placing an order for larger items, please check that the items of furniture will fit through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways on the way to the destination room, as we cannot accept this as a reason to refuse delivery.
Returns Policy
We offer a 7-day no-quibble money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase then please return the goods in re-saleable condition with original packaging and we shall be happy to refund the cost of the item.
On products that require assembly, we regret that we cannot accept returns once the product has been assembled.

Please specify clearly the reason for the return and state your agreement to our returns policy delivery charges. All returns must firstly be agreed with ‘The Online Furniture Store’ prior to being sent.
Please note that our returns policy stipulates that the customer is respectfully requested to meet the return delivery charge which may be significantly more than the original charge made over our website.
Refunds are given at the discretion of the Company Management.
Cancelling Goods
If after placing an order with us and paying a deposit, you decide to cancel your order any time before delivery to you the customer, we reserve to right to charge a re-stocking fee up to 20% of the order value, the reason for this is that we may have ordered your goods from a manufacturer and either be obligated to honour the contract or we may have already received your goods into stock.
The Product
Many of the products sold by, The Online Furniture Store, are made from natural materials like wood and leather so every piece of furniture is unique and individual. Each piece will vary from each other and so it is impossible to guarantee an exact colour match.
