In all of the Larsson chest of drawers, you’ll find storage that translates from bedroom to living space, a distressed finish that’s as easy to live with as it is pretty, and floral motifs that tell a tale of British woodlands. This tallboy design has the most drawers, and is a good way to bring in storage when there’s not much floorspace to spare.

A closer look at Larsson.....
Storage There are five drawers in this chest – one at the top that’s a little slimmer, for smaller objects that might otherwise get lost, followed by four that are deeper. Each one opens fully, so you can see all the way to the back without removing the drawers from the frame, and closes softly too.
Design detail Larsson is a piece that has British and Swedish influences. The proportions are slim and delicate, like so many Gustavian-style pieces of furniture are and what makes it work so well in bedrooms. The carved details – like spruce cone finials and wildflower motifs – only add to its prettiness.
The materials When it comes to painted timber, we use tulipwood – a strong and resilient hardwood. Its fine, almost knot-free grain makes it perfectly suited to a painted finish, so you get the best of both worlds – strength and smoothness.
The finish: paint Larsson has a base of Grey Oak paint which we cover completely using our Salt shade, and then sand parts back to let the colour beneath peep through. Or, we can paint it solidly in any of our other colours if the distressed look isn’t for you.
